The HAYSA board of directors will determine the person to run tryouts. Most often it will be the coach anticipated to head the 1st team in the division. The coach of the first team is tasked with creating the teams. The President of HAYSA reserves the right to change any team placement. The President has the final say.

No player will be cut to make room for a younger player to move up an age group. Players may only move up an age group in the Spring if requested by the board of directors. (This is extremely rare).

No player will be cut after Nov 15th to make room for a player that did not attend tryouts.

We try extremely hard not to cut at 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. We can create multiple teams as long as players sign up on time and the #s fit within roster limits established by the South Shore Soccer League.
