HAYSA Hardship Fund

Holbrook Avon Youth Soccer Association (HAYSA) is proud to offer a Hardship Fund for families facing financial difficulties. It is our policy that no child should be denied the opportunity to play soccer due to a family's financial situation.

In challenging times — whether due to job loss, health concerns, or other hardships — families may request assistance with league fees. HAYSA is run entirely by volunteers, and we ask that at least one parent commit to volunteering during the season (e.g., coaching, concessions, fundraising, field maintenance). Failure to fulfill this volunteer commitment may result in forfeiture of the assistance.

📬 How It Works

  • Requests are handled with complete confidentiality
  • Parents submit a brief application to the HAYSA Treasurer
  • Include basic player/family info and a short description of the financial need
  • Submission deadlines:
    • Fall Season: August 24
    • Spring Season: November 15
  • Decisions are made before the season begins
  • We aim to meet every request, though full funding is not guaranteed

Once a decision is made, families will be notified of the amount granted and how to proceed with registration.

HAYSA welcomes contributions to this fund from individuals and sponsors. If you know of a business or organization that would like to support this effort, please contact our Treasurer.
